“I have had the privilege of watching Ivy Hill, and our riders, grow over many years! I started as an event and lesson volunteer throughout high school, then worked as a Volunteer Coordinator while I was in college, and then joined as a Board member in 2021! The employees at Ivy Hill create such a welcoming and genuine environment, the volunteers reflect dedication and hard work, and the riders and their families show determination, radiate positivity, and teach everyone here that anything is possible. As a volunteer, I had the opportunity to work with one rider who told me during our first lesson together in the Fall that her goal was to get a first place ribbon at Special Olympics that Spring. Sure enough, I watched her work so incredibly hard over the next six months, challenging her mind and body, and eventually she won that first place ribbon! I love getting to watch her continue to thrive at each of our Annual Home Shows. Ivy Hill is a wonderful organization to be a part of in any and every way!”
