LEAH SHARP
Leah comes to Ivy Hill with previous experience volunteering and instructing in a therapeutic riding program. She started grooming and tacking, moved on to side walking and leading horses, then became an instructor. She worked closely with visiting physicians and therapists to put together appropriate lesson plans for her students. She left only to work on her project horse, an off the track thoroughbred.
Along with assisting in the care of 22 horses on the farm which is her home, she now fox hunts and does dressage work with her current horse, Taft, an Appaloosa–Quarter horse cross.
She looks forward to working toward her P.A.T.H. certification.
