BIG SAM

Big Sam joined Ivy Hill in the Fall of 2019. As his name indicates, he is one of the biggest horses in the barn, standing at 16.2 hh. Though big, Sam is a gentle giant, and takes great care of his riders. He likes to walk on the trails and take naps in his stall. Sam is a grey Percheron, just like his friend Casper, and he was born in 2003.
