MELISSA SHEA

Melissa graduated from Southern Adventist University with a B.A in Art Therapy and minor in Psychology in 2006. During this time Melissa also helped start an Equestrian program and Summer Camp at Bachman Academy for children with disabilities. Melissa has over 30 years of experience working with horses, and she is a Certified Horsemanship Association Instructor certified in English, Western, and Trails and is in the proeess of becoming a PATH Certified Riding Instructor. Melissa has worked with both children and adults in Therapeutic settings for over 20 years. She also has experience as a teacher and loves art. Her art work was displayed in the Ward-Nasse Gallery, a professional gallery in Soho, NYC. She grew up with horses and loved her family tradition of Moonlight rides. Melissa joined Ivy Hill in June of 2023 with gratitude and is honored to part of this amazing team.
